The Patterson Observatory will open to the public on Thursday, September 17, 2015. This event is FREE and family friendly. Viewing begins about 7PM. Members of the Huachuca Astronomy Club will be on-hand to share their telescopes and answer your questions. Guests will view the moon, planets and a variety of deep sky splendors through the 20-inch telescope. The Patterson observatory is located on the campus of the University of Arizona, Sierra Vista, 1140 N. Colombo Avenue. Donations to the University South Foundation support the observatory and are greatly appreciated.
