Dine under the Stars (DUTS) tickets will be available at the August meeting. By purchasing a DUTS ticket, you will be supporting the University South Foundation which owns the Patterson Observatory and which supports the students, faculty and staff of the University of Arizona South. DUTS will be held on Saturday October 3 on the campus of the University of Arizona, Sierra Vista adjacent to the Patterson Observatory. There will be a catered dinner, live music, and star gazing along with a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. The event is fun and for a great cause. And by purchasing a DUTS ticket you will be supporting my participation on the Foundation’s board of directors. My seat there allows me to advocate for the continued health of the Patterson Observatory. Please help by purchasing tickets if you possibly can. Adults $40, students $25 and children under 12, $15.
